Female Confectioners Union (1917 - 1950)

Function: Trade Union (Federal)
The Female Confectioners’ Union was registered federally in 1917. Until 1950, when it was deregistered, the union remained committed to raising awareness of the problems and rights of women in the confectionery industry. By 1950 when the Union was deregistered many of its members had been adopted into the Federated Confectioners' Association of Australia.
