State Public Service General Division Union (1921 - 1949)

The State Public Service General Division Union was formed and federally registered in 1921 to serve state public service workers throughout Australia. The Union was deregistered in 1949, although a similar union, the State Public Service Federation, was registered in 1976 and operated until 1994 when it was deregistered itself. Many of this Union's members went on to join the CPSU, the Community & Public Sector Union.
