Function: Trade Union (Federal)
Location: Victoria
The Victorian Plasterers’ Society was registered federally in 1940 despite operating for some years before this date. By 1988 the union had amalgamated with the Victorian Plaster Industry Workers’ Union and the Victorian Operative Bricklayers’ Society to form the Victorian State Building Trades Union. It remained the Victorian State Building Trades Union despite a 1991 amalgamation with the Slaters Tilers and Roofing Industry Union of Victoria.
