The West Australian Chamber of Manufacturers was established in 1890 and eventually merged with the West Australian Employers' Federation in 1975 to form the Confederation of West Australian Industry. On the first day of the year 1992, this body amalgamated with the West Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry to create the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Western Australia.
