Summary
Born in 1904, Edgar Ross joined the Miners' Federation and the Australian Labor Party in 1929. Brother to Lloyd Ross, Edgar also worked as a journalist on the Barrier Daily Truth in Broken Hill, which led him to become a member of the Australian Journalists' Association. Ross also served for thirty years as a member of the Executive of the Labor Council of New South Wales.
