The Australian Trade Union Archives (ATUA) is an online gateway for scholars and researchers of labour history. It is designed to bring together historical details and information on the sources of archival records and publications about Australian industrial organisations, mainly including trade unions and also employer bodies.

It has been created by a consortium of archivists at the Australian National University, the University of Melbourne, the University of Wollongong, Monash University and the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre, and made possible through funding from the Australian Research Council.

ATUA is not a source of current information about industrial awards and conditions. To obtain such information contact Fair Work Online ortry the Australian Council of Trade Unions website, which links to an online directory that provides access to the websites of all affiliated Australian trade unions. The websites in turn provide contact information for their federal and state branches.

ATUA itself is also not a source of genealogical information, although it may indicate possible sources for such information. Available information is listed under Archival resources within a record. This gives the location and description of any archival records that exist for that particular entity.
