Summary
Established in 1910 as an employer based, not-for-profit organisation, the Licensed Restaurateurs Association of Australia was registered federally in 1977. In 1985 it was renamed the Restaurant & Catering Association of Victoria and was eventually incorporated in November 1995 with other state bodies. Operating, from this point, as the Victorian Branch of what was now the Restaurant & Catering Association of Australia, it remains the peak industry body within Victoria to provide business support and a range of benefits to members.
