Summary
Bill Kelty was an industrial advocate and research officer for the Federated Storemen and Packers' Union during the period 1970-1974 and Australian Council of Trade Unions [ACTU] 1974-1977. He was also a member of the ACTU Executive and Assistant Secretary from 1977 to 1983, when he became Secretary, a position he held until 2000.
