| The United Farmers' & Stockowners' Industrial Association of South Australia was originally formed in 1890 as the Pastoralists' Union of South Australia. Two years later, in 1892 it was retitled the Pastoralists' Association of South Australia & West Darling. By 1907 it was renamed the Pastoralists' Association of South Australia. In 1916, the Association eventually became known as the Stockowners' Association of South Australia. In 1980 the Association merged with the Farmers' & Graziers' Association of South Australia to form the United Farmers' & Stockowners' of South Australia.
