Summary
Registered federally in 1912 as the Amalgamated Fellmongers' Woolsorters' & Woolscourers' Union of Australia, this union registered again in 1918 under the new name, Wool & Basil Workers' Federation of Australia. The Wool & Basil Workers' Federation operated virtually unchanged for another fifty-eight years when, in 1976, it was amalgamated into the Australian Workers' Union.
