Percy George Hannett was an active member of the New South Wales Branch of the Electrical Trades Union [ETU] until his retirement in 1962. He travelled to Russia in June 1929, representing both the Labor Council of NSW and the NSW Branch of the ALP and met with the Executive of the Red International of Labor Unions.
